Horse Racing Tips: This fancy at 15/2 can break through at Dundalk today

The Racing Post deliver their verdict on the action at Dundalk on Wednesday including the 15/2 fancy Sweet Justice at 17:45.

Dundalk-Races-daylight

14:05 Keepthebestsideout

Having beaten Pillar a shade snugly here last month over an extra furlong, KEEPTHEBESTSIDEOUT is taken to follow up over this shorter trip from a good draw. Plenty of dangers, headed by Woodrow and Blastofmagic.

14:40 Dances With Stars

Quite open but DANCES WITH STARS is worth another chance, having still looked green when a beaten favourite last time, on only his second career start. Illusory has plenty to find on official ratings but comes here on the back of a good run in handicap company and she won’t be far away. S’all Good Man has to be respected after a good C&D second last time.

15:15 Sienna Lady

Despite the high draw and the absence of cheekpieces Irish Poseidon will likely to start a warm order here in his hat-trick bid. However, it may pay to oppose him with the lightly-weighted SIENNA LADY, who tries this trip for the first time. Ardamir got a hike for finishing fifth in a recent C&D claimer but even so still looks nicely in compared to his hurdle rating, while Storm Steps has been in such good form here of late that he again demands respect.

15:45 Make The Switch

Recent hurdles winner Crassus looks interesting switched to the polytrack but MAKE THE SWITCH is taken to continue John McConnell’s good run, having looked to be crying out for the return to this trip last time. Spelga can never be discounted around here though he has the worst of the draw, while Drakensberg attempts to recoup recent losses in a similar race, and Kalanoura is a potential improver back on this surface.

16:15 The Mouse Doctor

This looks like a good opportunity for THE MOUSE DOCTOR who has an edge over the consistent Dame Rapide on running here last time. Scholastic could feature if none the worse for a recent reverse over hurdles. Hannon should enjoy the trip and is from an in-form stable.

Dundalk

16:45 Let Me Pass (NAP)

Little form to go on with the weights pointing to a close match between the sole winner in the field LET ME PASS (nap) and the lightly-weighted Dha Leath, with preference for the former, a reliable sort and back to his best trip. The selection’s stablemate Stellar Spirit showed enough on his debut to suggest he could pick up some minor money, a sentiment also applying to Catena Zapata, whose debut run came in a good-class maiden. Joseph O’Brien runs four, the most interesting could be the debutant and Irish Derby entry Irwin.

17:15 Adnap

Plenty with good course form. ADNAP is one of that group and is tipped on the basis that he may have needed the outing here last time and and is likely to be suited by the drop in trip into the bargain. The progressive Juyush could feature again, and Faakirah is another with a leading chance.

17:45 Sweet Juice

It may be worth taking a chance with SWEET JUSTICE whose good-ground turf form suggests she may be suited by a switch to this surface. Tynamite and Indiana Grey are strong contenders on recent course form. Tyriana is of some interest on her first run after a break.
