Bashful Boy has solid claims and is feared most, but GUNSIGHT RIDGE is taken to go one better than at Market Rasen when he probably bumped into an above-average individual. Onemorefortheroad can also be involved, as this more galloping track could easily see him improve.

Presenting Meghan has achieved the most of these, but the good ground will be a first and preference is for the DIDONATO, who chased home a really likeable mare under similar conditions at Huntingdon.

Three or four of these could be ahead of their marks. The booking of Kevin Brogan is the icing on the cake for ASHINGTON‘s (NAP) prospects after a luckless run when third at Cheltenham last month. He looks sure to go well. Lunar Jet should not be underestimated after a hat-trick of successes on the Flat this autumn, while Radjash may still be well handicapped after a short break following a busy spell.

This looks open. There’s a suspicion 2m 3f is a bare minimum for Minella Trump, but if he can build on an encouraging chasing debut at Carlisle, he looks likely to be thereabouts. Enrichissant can put his chasing experience to good use and has a place chance, while Imperil is a dangerous lurker at the bottom of the weights with a four-year-old allowance. But, we could see an improved CORRANY now that he goes over fences and he gets the vote in an interesting race.

If his well-being were guaranteed, Daydream Aulmes would be the one to beat and he’s still very much respected after a long absence following a heavy fall. Tayzar is a solid contender at the foot of the weights, but the hope is that BYRON FLYER can roll back the years under Charlie Todd and add to his 2016 victory in this race.

The obvious starting point is the clearcut Huntingdon winner Arthur’s Seat, who should give another good account of himself under a penalty. Slight preference is for ANDITSNONAYNEVER though, who has the right sort of pedigree and represents a stable with a fine record in bumpers. Hunter’s Dawn receives plenty of weight and may make the frame.
