So, without further ado, here’s out top pundit’s tips for the 15:17 at Ascot on Saturday 21st of November 2020.

Ruby Walsh:  MARRACUDJA was third behind Defi Du Seuil in the Grade 1 at Ascot – the Matchbook Clarence House – and he beat Hawk High at Wetherby on the second day of the Christmas meeting there so the form can be there.

Frank Hickey: FIRST FLOW ran really well at Sandown in February when he was second by half a length behind Dolos. This is his first time out off a break on soft ground right-handed, everything is in place for him to run a big race.

Mick Fitzgerald: CAPELAND won this contest last year and Paul Nicholls has put some cheekpieces on to sharpen his jumping up and that can have the desired effect.

Matt Chapman: This won’t be easy for the Bass/Bailey runner FIRST FLOW on debut, but he’s hugely exciting and loves the mud. A natural front-runner, First Flow was always a decent hurdler and promises to be even better over fences. He just has to show that dominating small fields is not all he is good at.

Timeform: Kim Bailey’s FIRST FLOW quickly made up into a smart chaser last term, mopping up a hat-trick of weak races in quick succession. He’s taken to make a winning reappearance and enhance his fine record in this sphere further. Capeland is feared having won this contest last year, along with Irish-raider Abbey Magic, who could have plenty more to offer.
