Frank Hickey has selected his four best bets ahead of Sunday’s racing at Navan.

Speaking on the latest episode of Paddy Power’s twice-weekly From The Horse’s Mouth podcast, our expert tipster revealed his best bets that will hopefully offer plenty of value for punters.

12.30pm – Jesse Evans

I assume Ballyadam will not run in this For Auction Novice Hurdle, and Ngolo obviously won down at Listowel. Eskylane I Imagine would be Gordon Elliott’s runner in this but I wasn’t too impressed on his hurdles debut. If JESSE EVANS rocks up for Noel Meade, who remains in good form, I might be interested in backing him. I was taken with how he won his bumper at Listowel and how he won over hurdles at Gowran on his hurdles debut.

1.00pm – Ronald Pump

The Lismullen Hurdle is obviously very tricky. 2m4f is probably sharp enough for RONALD PUMP, who ran a cracker in the Stayers’ Hurdle. It’s just hard to know because a lot of these horses are probably going to use this race as a prep for bigger targets later on in the season, making it a very tricky race.

1.35pm – Discordantly

In the Troytown Handicap Chase, I am very taken with DISCORDANTLY. He bolted up his handicap chase debut at Galway off a mark of 132 and he’s now up 10lbs but he has a decent chance.

2.10pm – Castlegrace Paddy (without A Plus Tard)

A Plus Tard will take a world of beating in the Tote Fortria Chase, so at the current prices I would be interested in the Without market and CASTLEGRACE PADDY will probably be the one I would back – either in the Without or the forecast.
