The trading team have knocked up a top jockey betting market as part of the Cheltenham Festival odds on the Paddy Power website and app.
Paul Townend edged out Dan Skelton in last year’s ding-dong battle for the crown to claim the Ruby Walsh Trophy for the third season in a row.
The top jockey and top trainer gongs at the Cheltenham Festival often go hand in hand so it’s no surprise that Closutton number one Townend emerged victorious as he rode six of Willie Mullins’ nine winners during the week.
He is, once again, set to boast plenty of ammunition but will be made to work for the crown by the likes of Jack Kennedy, who is returning from a long-term injury, and Nico de Boinville.
While winning as many races as possible will be the aim for each jockey, they will have one eye focused on each of the feature races.
And don’t forget, David Power Jockeys’ Cup points will be on offer for 24 of the 28 races on the Cheltenham Festival schedule so you can expect every rider to be going all-guns blazing during the week.
