The Ryanair Chase is the big race over fences on the third day of the Cheltenham Festival.
It is typically contested by horses that lack the speed for the Champion Chase and the stamina for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, but the middle-distance race has been won by some classy types such as Allah and Vautour since its introduction to the March mega meet in 2005.
Protektorat claimed the honours in last season’s renewal after trainer Dan Skelton realised the gelding was unlikely to feature in the shake up for the Gold Cup, although he is set to face a stiff test to retain the crown as we could be treated to a deep field this term.
Ryanair Chase odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details for this year’s renewal are below.

Ryanair Chase 2025 betting
Ryanair Chase odds are on paddypower.com and prices for the leading contenders can be seen on our snazzy widgets below.
Despite the Cheltenham Gold Cup appearing to be the main target, Fact To File, the winner of last year Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase, is the favourite with Paddy Power to win the Ryanair Chase after an impressive victory in the John Durkan on seasonal reappearance.
Banbridge is next in our early betting after scooting to glory in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.
*Odds quoted on the widget are Future Racing / Antepost prices which means that if your selection does not run in the race for whatever reason – you will lose your stake under traditional Antepost rules
