The David Power Jockeys’ Cup has launched into action and the battle for the £500K top prize is underway.
The competition – named in honour of Paddy’s dad and our legendary co-founder – pits riders into battle on ITV jump races for a slice of the record-breaking £1.5million prize fund.
It started on the opening day of November Meeting at Cheltenham and concludes on the Friday of the Grand National Festival at Aintree.

David Power Jockeys’ Cup standings
Jockeys are awarded points for finishing in the top four of races shown on ITV Racing between November 15 and April 4. A win is worth 10 points, second get 8 points, third will bag 6 points and fourth will collect 4 points.

Harry Skelton is the favourite with Paddy Power to win the inaugural David Power Jockeys’ Cup after getting off to a flying start.
