Nicky Henderson’s stable star was set to make his hotly-anticipated reappearance in the Grade 1 – which he won comfortably in 2022 – but concerns were raised following a questionable racecourse gallop before being ruled out due to bruising.
4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle hero Sir Gino flies the flag for the Seven Barrows yard and faces Supreme second Mystical Power as Willie Mullins spies a maiden victory in the race, which was won by Not So Sleepy at Sandown Park last year.
