When is the St Leger 2024? Doncaster date, start time, runners and betting

The final Classic!

The St Leger is fast approaching as the leading three-year-old stayers on the block prepare to tackle the Doncaster Classic.

It is the longest in distance – at an extended 14 furlongs – and the oldest of the five prestigious races having been established in 1776. It is also the final leg of the Triple Crown, although the last horse to achieve the feat was Oh So Sharp in 1985 and the last gelding to land the hat-trick was Nijinsky in 1970.

The latest generation of three-year-olds are bidding to emulate last year’s winner Continuous, who proved his class by subsequently finishing fifth in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

You can run the rule over our St Leger odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.
