The Yorkshire Oaks takes centre stage on the second day of the Ebor Festival at York.
The fillies and mares Group 1 is one of the biggest races of the season for the girls and the race has pointed punters towards subsequent winners of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe courtesy of Enable (2017) and Alpinista (2022).
Warm Heart became the latest three-year-old to claim the spoils in last year’s clash of the generations, although retirement means she won’t be back to defend her crown, however this term’s renewal is still shaping up to be a cracker.
