Gear up for four cracking days of action on the Knavesmire as York stages the Ebor Festival.
There are seven super races on each day of the fiesta starting on Wednesday, August 21 and concluding on Saturday, August 24.
The titular race, the Ebor Handicap, is one of the big staying races of the whole season, while the Juddmonte International is one of three Group 1s and is regularly rated as one of the world’s best.
Racegoers on the opening day of the meeting could see something special as Ballydoyle’s superstar City Of Troy attempts to become the first horse since Sea The Stars to win the Derby, Eclipse and Juddmonte International in the same season.
One of the other Group 1s, the Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes on Friday, is set to see the third instalment of Asfoora and Big Evs’ rivalry after the latter gained revenge for his Royal Ascot defeat at Glorious Goodwood.
