A bumper 53 races feature on the Galway Races Summer Festival schedule in 2024.
The seven-day fiesta at Ballybrit Racecourse takes place from Monday, July 29 to Sunday, August 4.
There is a mixture of Flat and Jumps racing to savour, although the biggest contests of the week take place over obstacles.
The Galway Plate on Wednesday, July 31 is one of the most prestigious National Hunt races of the whole year and Ash Tree Meadow could attempt to become the first horse since Ansar in 2005 to retain the crown.
The Galway Hurdle on Thursday, August 1 also offers a mega prize pot, with the leading Jumps trainers likely to saddle some of their stable stars throughout the week.
