When is the Irish 1000 Guineas 2024? Curragh date, start time, runners and betting

Classic glory's on the line.

Tahiyra wins the Irish 1000 Guineas in 2023

The girls will take centre stage as they bid for Classic glory at the Curragh in the Irish 1000 Guineas.

The one-mile contest is the second Classic of the campaign in Ireland and a bumper field of runners are expected to take their chance to scoop the €285,000 top prize for connections.

After narrowly being denied in the Newmarket equivalent, Tahiyra claimed the spoils in last season’s renewal and it was the start of a three-race winning streak at the top level for Dermot Weld’s now-retired stable star.

You can run the rule over our Irish 1000 Guineas odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.

Opera Singer is the favourite with Paddy Power for the Irish 1000 Guineas after bagging the Prix Marcel Boussac on the final start of her juvenile campaign.

Fallen Angel, the only other Group 1 winner in the field, is next in our betting despite failing to land a blow in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier this month.
