Ylang Ylang is set to face 15 rivals in her bid to become Aidan O’Brien’s eighth winner of the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket.
The Frankel filly is a C&D winner after landing the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile at the end of last season and she is the Ballydoyle master’s sole representative in Sunday’s 15:40.
She is not the highest-rated horse in the second Classic of the season as that honour goes to Fallen Angel, who scooped last year’s Group 1 Moyglare Stud and is tasked with scoring a maiden success in the 1000 Guineas for her handler, Karl Burke.
Godolphin trainer Charlie Appleby is double-handed courtesy of Dance Sequence, who was beaten by Pretty Crystal in last month’s Nell Gwyn, and Cinderella’s Dream.
Oisin Murphy steered Mawj to victory in last year’s renewal and is booked to ride See The Fire for Andrew Balding.
1000 Guineas odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, the confirmed runners and riders for Saturday’s big race at Aintree are below.
