Galopin Des Champs is the star of the show on the second day of the 2024 Punchestown Festival.

The Cheltenham Gold Cup winner was beaten by Fastorslow in last season’s renewal of the Punchestown Gold Cup and the pair lock horns again in Wednesday’s feature as Willie Mullins’ stable star attempts to land a fourth Grade 1 in a row.

There is further top-level action courtesy of the Channor Real Estate Group Novice Hurdle as Aintree winner Dancing City and Cheltenham scorer Stellar Story renew rivalries before the first two home in the Champion Bumper, Jasmin De Vaux and Romeo Coolio, go at it again in the Race & Stay At Punchestown Champion I.N.H. Flat Race.
