Cheltenham Festival Top Trainer 2024 standings and results

Who will come out on top?

Champion Hurdle Cheltenham 2024

Forget about the jockeys, all the top trainers at this year’s Cheltenham Festival are battling it out to be crowned the best.

Last year, veteran Irish trainer Willie Mullins came out on top to be hailed as the top trainer across the four-day event for the 10th time in his career.

He had six winners and will be looking to defend his crown this time. Galopin Des Champs, State Man, El Fabiolo and Ballyburn are big contenders in their respective races, but other trainers will fancy their chances too.

Henry de Bromhead heads to Prestbury Park with a formidable lineup as Envoi Allen and former Gold Cup winner Minella Indo have great chances in the Ryanair Chase and Cross Country Chase, while Gordon Elliott also has a decent squad at his disposal.

The Irish are expected to dominate once again, although Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls look to be Britain’s best chance at spoiling the party.
