Galopin Des Champs has become a back-to-back winner of the Cheltenham Gold Cup.
Willie Mullins’ stable star delivered a flawless round of jumping to see off Gerri Colombe in the 100th edition of the Blue Riband at the Cheltenham Festival to add to last year’s success.
Grand National hero Corach Rambler stayed on to finish third and L’Homme Presse was next home in fourth.
Galopin Des Champs’ jockey Paul Townend told ITV Racing: “Unbelievable!
“I rode him completely different to last year and he was just so great.”
There was drama mid-race as Fastorslow unshipped jockey JJ Slevin and the loose horse continued to the winning line but did not interfere.

1. Galopin Des Champs (10/11)
2. Gerri Colombe (13/2)
