Cheltenham Race Card: Your ultimate Festival guide to day 3 on Thursday

We're sponsoring today's big race...

Paddy Power Stayers' Hurdle

Our fearless leader has once again stuck his name on the feature race on day three of the 2024 Cheltenham Festival – and this year’s renewal of the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle looks a corker!

The first five home in last season’s edition from Sire Du Berlais to Home By The Lee are back for more, Britain’s rising star Crambo is in the mix and 2022 Grand National winner Noble Yeats adds some more gold dust to proceedings.

Thursday’s action features, arguably, the most exciting novice events of the week as Facile Vega, Ginny’s Destiny and Grey Dawning can barely be split in Paddy Power’s betting for the Turners Novices’ Chase, while the Grade 2 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle looks red hot as Brighterdaysahead, Dysart Enos and Jade De Grugy slug it out.

The Ryanair Chase is the third Grade 1 on the card as Envoi Allen bids to become a four-time Cheltenham Festival winner but he’s up against a competitive field that includes Banbridge (if the ground improves), Conflated and Stage Star.

If each-way betting is your angle then the Pertemps Final, Plate Handicap Chase and Kim Muir provide big fields on a competitive day’s racing.

Cheltenham Festival odds can be found on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise, everything you need to know about day three of the mega meeting is below.
