Cheltenham Festival 2023: Day Three

The Mares Novices’ Hurdle is run on the New Course and is one of the newer races at the Cheltenham Festival.

It was first run in 2016 and takes place over a distance of two miles and one furlong, with eight hurdles to be jumped. Trainer Willie Mullins has dominated the race since it began, winning the first five.

You Wear It Well emerged as the winner in last year’s renewal, with Gavin Sheehan on board, and she was sent out at 16-1.
