Galopin Des Champs claimed last year’s renewal en route to victory in the Cheltenham Gold Cup and Willie Mullins’ stable star is set to kick off his campaign over the intermediate trip at Punchestown once again.
It looks far from a penalty kick, however, as Galopin Des Champs was beaten by Fastorslow in April’s season-ending Punchestown Gold Cup and Martin Brassil’s emerging force takes his place in the line-up.
