It’s fair to say Constitution Hill is established as the top dog in the National Hunt game after an all-conquering 2022/23 campaign.
Nicky Henderson’s stable star comprehensively landed the Grade 1 Fighting Fifth, Christmas Hurdle, Champion Hurdle and Aintree Hurdle to add to the Supreme and Tolworth titles won in his novice hurdling season.
The prospect of going chasing in a bid to emulate Champion Hurdle and Gold Cup heroine Dawn Run was floated by connections, although Constitution Hill is set to remain over sticks for the time being.

Constitution Hill next race
Constitution Hill is set to make his seasonal reappearance in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle on Saturday, December 2.
Seven Barrows handler Henderson told At The Races: “The plan would probably be the Fighting Fifth again, the Christmas Hurdle and then the International Hurdle which has been switched to Trials Day at Cheltenham in January.
“It will then be the Champion Hurdle and, all being well, either Aintree or Punchestown.
“He is a wonderful horse, and it would be fantastic if he could go and do it all again.”
