The big spring festivals are in full swing and the National Hunt season is almost at an end.
Willie Mullins has dominated Irish Jumps racing in recent years and looks set to enjoy another all-conquering campaign at home and in the UK. The Closutton handler is the defending champion trainer after topping the pile in 2022/23 for the 17th time in his career, although Gordon Elliott has given him a run for his money once again.
There are a number of huge meetings that are likely to prove crucial in the race for the Trainers’ Championship including the Punchestown Festival at the end of the season.
