The Curragh is preparing to stage the fourth Classic of the season in Ireland as the leading three-year-old fillies take centre stage.

The Irish Oaks is a tactical battle over 12 furlongs on the galloping track and it takes place more than a month after the English equivalent, although Epsom heroine Soul Sister will not attempt to do the double.

Aidan O’Brien is spying a record-breaking seventh victory in the race and the Ballydoyle master saddles a couple of leading contenders.
