A £500,000 prize pot is on offer in the 1000 Guineas and the first past the post after one mile over the Rowley Mile course at Newmarket will bag a tidy £283,550 for connections.

Aidan O’Brien was denied a fourth consecutive victory in the historic race by up-and-coming trainer George Boughey as Cachet stormed to glory last year, and the Ballydoyle master faces stiff competition this spring.
