Lossiemouth is the star of the show on the fifth and final day of the Punchestown Festival as the Triumph heroine tackles seven rivals including Cinsa, Gala Marceau and Zara The Brave in the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle (5pm).
The other Grade 1 on the card sees rivalries renewed from last month’s Mares’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival with Brandy Love, Echoes In Rain, Epatante and Love Envoi, Queens Brook and Shewearsitwell all declared for the Coolmore N.H. Sires Mogul Irish EBF Mares Champion Hurdle.
An Epic Song went close in last month’s Coral Cup and will bid to emulate stablemate Fastorslow, who beat Galopin Des Champs and Bravemansgame on Wednesday, by winning at this meeting in the Grade B Fitzwilliam Sports Handicap Hurdle. The Have The Conversation – Say Yes To Organ Donation Punchestown Charity Race rounds off proceedings.
