The Queen Mother Champion Chase is the feature race on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival.
It is the leading minimum-distance contest over larger obstacles in the British calendar and there are 13 fences to be jumped before connections can dream of banking the £225,080 winning prize.
Energumene landed last year’s renewal to finally end Willie Mullins’ duck in the race and the Irish-trained horse is bidding to join the likes of Altior, Master Minded and Moscow Flyer as a multiple winner of the prestigious Grade 1.
You can run the rule over our Champion Chase odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.

Edwardstone, the winner of last season’s Arkle over course and distance, is the favourite with Paddy Power for the Champion Chase, despite unseating his jockey in the Desert Orchid and finishing second in the Clarence House.
Energumene is next in our betting as he bids to make it back-to-back victories in the race. The nine-year-old looks set to follow the same path to Cheltenham having kicked off his season by strolling to success in the Hilly Way before suffering a shock defeat in the Clarence House.
Editeur Du Gite is also prominent in our market after an impressive success over his principals rivals in the rescheduled Clarence House.
