The Champion Bumper is the only race at the Cheltenham Festival where the runners and riders don’t have to jump obstacles – and it rounds off the action on day two of this year’s meeting.

Run over 2m½f on the Old Course at Cheltenham, it is the biggest flat race on the National Hunt calendar and has been won by a host of future stars including Florida Pearl in 1997 and Cue Card in 2010.

Willie Mullins is the leading trainer in the history of the Champion Bumper with 12 winners and the Closutton handler is bidding for his fourth-consecutive victory after saddling Ferny Hollow, Sir Gerhard and Facile Vega to success in recent years.

You can run the rule over our Champion Bumper odds on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app, otherwise all the key details about this year’s renewal can be found below.

Sporting the JP McManus silks, A Dream To Share is the favourite with Paddy Power for the Champion Bumper after three wins from three under rules including last month’s Future Stars I.N.H. Flat Race at the Dublin Racing Festival.

Willie Mullins’ It’s For Me is next in our betting after clocking an impressive performance on his racecourse debut in an INH Flat Race at Navan in January.
