The Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle kicks off the action on day two of the Cheltenham Festival.

Despite being an intermediate-distance contest, the Ballymore has spawned subsequent Champion Hurdle winners in the form of Istabraq, Hardy Eustace and Faugheen over the years.
