Paddy’s Pick 5: 7 players scoop share of €/£25k in our free-to-play horse racing game

Not a bad weekend for seven lucky players - and we do it all again next Saturday for another €/£25k jackpot

Paddy Power just can’t stop giving free money away and it was no different on Saturday.

SEVEN Paddy Power punters are all €/£3,571 better off after sharing the mega prize pot.

Our winners got off to a relatively easy start as Gordon Elliot’s Queens Brook (8/15) won comfortably at Punchestown in the 14:13.

Attention then turned to the 14:25 at Haydock, with our punters needing Gary Moore’s Botox Has to win the Stayers’ Handicap Hurdle.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

The 17/2 shot took a lead with two fences to jump and he stayed on well to beat Get A Tonic by 2 1/4 lengths.

Next up was the Grade 1 Betfair Chase at the same track, where many expected Henry De Bromhead’s A Plus Tard to bolt up. However, it didn’t go to plan for the Gold Cup winner, who was pulled up by Rachael Blackmore.

Our punters knew their pick, Protektorat for the Skeltons, had a great chance with A Plus Tard not in the picture and the seven-year-old turned on the jets to win by 11 lengths.

Three down, two to go!

We then went back to Punchestown for the Conway Piling Handicap Hurdle at 15:23, with our winners firmly focused on Jungle Prose, who went off the 11/4 favourite.

Jack Kennedy gave the Gordon Elliot a brilliant ride and he led approaching the last and kicked on for the run home.

Our seven punters had probably already decided how they were going to spend their winnings but they needed one more winner in the final ITV race of the day (15:35 at Haydock).

Fontaine Collonges was the selection, however, they needed Venetia Williams’ runner to beat the 5/2 favourite Houston Texas.

The favourite weakened throughout the race and was out of it with two fences left. Instead, Fontaine Collonges was battling with Joe Tizzard’s The Big Breakaway.

The Big Breakaway looked like he had every chance during the run in, however, Fontaine Collonges just edged ahead in the final seconds to win by a head.

That meant our seven winners scooped their share of the €/£25k prize pot. Enjoy!

And it all happens again this Saturday when another €/£25k jackpot is up for grabs and the races and entry widget will appear here on Thursday afternoon, November 24.
