Breeders’ Cup 2022 draw and runners for every race at Keeneland on Friday & Saturday

The Breeders’ Cup post draw has been conducted ahead of this weekend’s lucrative two-day meeting at Keeneland.

The 2022 championship takes place from Friday, November 4 to Saturday, November 5 with 14 contests on the schedule and $28,000,000 in prize money up for grabs.

Irish and British-trained runners are set to cross the pond for a crack at the big bucks but they have been given a mixed bag in the draw.

The Platinum Queen is bidding to give Richard Fahey a maiden winner at the Breeders’ Cup but the Juvenile Turf Sprint favourite has a tricky draw from stall 12, while Frankie Dettori’s leading mounts, Kinross in the Mile and Mishriff in the Turf, have also been drawn out wide.

Starting nearer the inside rail has been mooted as advantageous due to the tight track at Keeneland so connections of Creative Force, Go Bears Go and Highfield Princess will be relieved to have been drawn inside of Golden Pal in the Turf Sprint.

While the likes of Silver Knott in the Juvenile Turf, Nashwa and Tuesday in the Filly & Mare Turf, and Pogo and Modern Games in the Mile are all low in the draw.
