Colin Keane claimed the Irish Flat Jockeys’ Championship on Wednesday for the fourth time as Billy Lee’s whip ban for the final two Flat meetings of the season wasn’t overturned on appeal on Wednesday.
That left Keane free to saunter home on Bucky Larson for his boss Ger Lyons and reach 90 winners for the season, one ahead of Lee’s 89 winners.
