You know what they say… you wait 19 times for a 100k jackpot winner in the Paddy’s Pick 5 game then FIVE come along all at once.
That’s right FIVE Paddy Power punters are all €/£20,000 better off after sharing the mega prize pot today.
Our winners got off to a smart start by picking 10/1 shot Knight to get it done at 13:50 at Newbury as some other more fancied horses underperformed.
Plenty were still in the running at that stage, and it was all eyes on Cheltenham for our remaining four races.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Lord Accord was the next winner of one of our featured races for Neil Mulholland before Gordon Elliott’s odds-on fav Pied Piper kept the good times rolling.
There were plenty of Pick 5ers left standing with two to go and 17 were on Dads Lad at 15:15 which meant Paddy’s traders were sent scrambling for the giant novelty cheques in anticipation of a winner.
And Shoot First duly delivered to mean the Pick 5 jackpot was finally won by three bright bettors! But, hang on a minute, ‘You said there were five winners’, We hear you cry.
Well, two players were on the non-runner Tullybeg which meant they were automatically assigned the SP fav in the next race (you’ve gotta love those Ts&Cs) which just happened to be 9/4 shot Shoot First. How’s your luck, eh?
We’ve given away €/£105k in prize money to 36 winners in that time but this tops the lot!
So, the monster jackpot is gone but fear not, there’s another £/€25k up for grabs next week and entry is completely free, so if you want to be in with a chance of taking all the wonga on Saturday get yourself entered when the races are confirmed on Thursday afternoon.
And, just in case you’re completely new here (seriously, what have you been?), Paddy’s Pick 5 is free, easy to play and carries a minimum £/€25k jackpot every week with rollovers if it’s not won.
Did we mention it was free? Yes, FREE!
Simply select the winner in each of our five selected races on Saturday, October 29 and you’ll be in with a chance of bagging the prize. If there’s more than one winner – then the winnings will be split. Sharing is caring, after all.
