The Galway Festival 2022 takes place between Monday, July 25 and Sunday, July 31 and it offers a mixture of Flat and National Hunt racing so there’s something for fans of either code to enjoy.

All eyes will be on the prestigious Galway Plate on day three as a stack of cracking chasers tackle 14 fences over 2m6½f in the battle for the €159,300 top prize. The same sum is on offer the following day in the Galway Hurdle, won in recent years by the likes of Saldier and Sharjah.
