The Newmarket July Festival promises three days of cracking racing starting from today and, if that wasn’t enough, there are a couple of Group 1 blockbusters to enjoy.
Superstar filly Inspiral is set to be the headline name in tomorrow’s Falmouth Stakes while the world’s most prestigious sprint, the July Cup, is the penultimate race on the final day of action at Headquarters.
Our slick and snazzy Racecards page has everything you could possibly need to know about all 21 renewals at the Newmarket July Festival including the runners and riders, weights, and handy horse-by-horse analysis.
The final fields will be revealed at the 48-hour declaration stage and you’ll be able to run the rule over the latest odds on the Paddy Power website once the big man’s trusty traders have priced up the races.
You can never trust the Great British weather but, whisper it quietly so we don’t scare the sun away, the forecast for Newmarket this week is pretty encouraging with dry conditions and highs of 26 degrees celsius predicted by the meteorological boffins.
While that should ensure the track conditions don’t change too much, you’ll want to keep an eye on the official going before placing a punt. The July course at Newmarket is currently described as Good to Firm, Good (in places), according to the latest inspection on Thursday morning.
So you’ve studied the runners and the track conditions, the next big question is how to watch the Newmarket July Festival? Well, Paddy’s put some coins in the meter so you can live stream all of the day’s racing on the Paddy Power website and Paddy Power app. You don’t even have to place a bet to watch along!
If you can’t catch the action but want to check whether your bets have landed then you’ll find all of the Newmarket results in a flash on our Fast Results page.
