Just like a finale episode of your favourite Netflix series, the hype for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2021 has reached fever pitch as the Flat season reaches its climax.
The sheer number of potential storylines that could emerge has the most prestigious race in Europe shaping up to be a blockbuster. Tarnawa is hoping to become the first five-year-old mare since 1937 to claim the big prize, Adayar will attempt to join an elite club of Epsom Derby winners that doubles up, while Hurricane Lane could be the first St Leger winner in history to score in France weeks later.
Tarnawa and Adayar have been battling for market favouritism since Snowfall’s shock defeat to Teona in the Prix Vermeille last month. Dermot Weld’s charge was handed the lower stall number when the draw took place on Thursday and she’ll line up between Hurricane Lane and last season’s dual Classic winner Love.
Below you’ll find all the racecard information for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe 2021 and details of the rest of the day’s renewals at Longchamp.
