There’s no rest for the wicked as the second day of the Ebor Festival 2021 follows hot on the heels of yesterday’s brilliant afternoon at York. You’ve come to the right place to learn all about today’s seven contests on the Knavesmire as the fillies take centre stage.

Snowfall is the hot favourite with Paddy Power to claim the Yorkshire Oaks (3.35pm) but faces a stern test from dual Group 1 winner Wonderful Tonight. Snowfall produced a record-breaking display to win the Epsom Oaks before recording the widest-winning margin in more than 100 years to land the Irish equivalent. Wonderful Tonight, however, has two comfortable victories from two runs this season and any rainfall would greatly boost her chances.

Thursday’s racing kicks off in electric style with the Group 2 Lowther Stakes (1.50pm) for two-year-old fillies while there also Listed action in the Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes (4.45pm).
