Tiger Roll is set for a return to the track after being entered in next week’s Galway Plate.
The dual Grand National winner has not been seen since placing fourth – 92l behind Clan Des Obeaux – in the Aintree Bowl Chase in April.
The prospect of retirement was floated but Tiger Roll is in line for a run at Galway after being allocated a rating of 155 for the 2m 6½f handicap. The fresh rating represents an 8lb drop from the 163 mark dished out for the Irish Grand National.
Samcro, Easy Game and Battleoverdoyen are ahead of Tiger Roll in the ratings with the little horse set to carry 11st 7lb.
Earlier this year, Tiger Roll was denied the chance to make it a hat-trick of Grand National wins due to a squabble over his handicap.

The Aintree icon began the 2020/21 season with three disappointing spins before the British handicapper controversially issued a rating of 166 for the world’s greatest steeplechase.
Tiger Roll was cut from the big race at the first stage of scratchings but the little horse trounced Cross Country Chase rival Easysland at the Cheltenham Festival weeks later.
