The United Kingdom is scheduled to scrap coronavirus restrictions on July 19 so the grandstands should be packed to the brim for Royal Ascot 2022.

A provisional five days of racing are slated for next year with Royal Ascot 2022 set to start on Tuesday June 14 and running until Saturday June 18.

You can already book tickets for the meeting on Ascot Racecourse’s website and the best prices – £29 – are available until November 30.

Royal Ascot may have come and gone for another year but there’s still plenty of racing to look forward to in the coming weeks.

It’s over to the Curragh on Saturday June 26 for the Irish Derby which could feature the likes of Epsom Derby winner Adayar, Bolshoi Ballet and High Definition.

Sandown hosts the Eclipse on Saturday July 3 where the brightest and best middle-distance runners aged 3 and over are expected to line up.

Newmarket’s July Festival has three days of high-class racing, before the Juddmonte Irish Oaks and King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes while next month is rounded off by Glorious Goodwood.
