Dubai Fountain

Trainer: Mark Johnston Jockey: Franny Norton

Smart effort when fourth in Fillies’ Mile on final 2-y-o start and showed she’s trained on well when fending off Zeyaadah (conceded 3 lb) to win Cheshire Oaks on return. Likely to acquit herself well.

Snowfall

Trainer: Aidan O’Brien Jockey: Frankie Dettori

Unable to make impact in pattern company at 2 but it was a different story on return with all-the-way win in Musidora at York (1¼m) last month. Will stay 1½m but may find it harder to dominate here.

Divinely

Trainer: Aidan O’Brien Jockey: Seamie Heffernan

Curragh Group 3 winner at 2. Behind 3 of today’s rivals when beaten 2 lengths into fourth in Lingfield Oaks Trial on reappearance but she leaves impression a truly-run 1½m could spark improvement.

Willow

Trainer: Aidan O’Brien Jockey: W.M. Lordan

Useful form. Limitations seemingly exposed at listed/Group 3 level over 1¼m this term but it’s possible she could improve for 1½m (dam won Irish Oaks).

Mystery Angel

Trainer: George Boughey Jockey: Ben Curtis

Made it fifth time lucky in listed company when landing 1¼m Pretty Polly at Newmarket at the start of May. Creditable fourth to Snowfall in Musidora at York since but likely vulnerable here.

La Joconde

Trainer: Aidan O’Brien Jockey: William Buick

Still a maiden but she has shown useful form, including latest fourth to Dubai Fountain in Cheshire Oaks. No surprise were she still to have a bigger performance in her.

Zeyaadah

Trainer: Roger Varian Jockey: Jim Crowley

A perfect 3-3 at 2, beating Mystery Angel in 1m Newmarket listed race final run. Shaped well when length second to Dubai Fountain (received 3 lb) in Cheshire Oaks (11f) on return. Leading contender.

Santa Barbara

Trainer: Aidan O’Brien Jockey: Ryan Moore

Impressive Curragh debut winner last autumn. Ran a cracker for one so inexperienced when 1¼ lengths fourth to stablemate Mother Earth in 1000 Guineas on return. Major player with 1½m likely to suit.

Saffron Beach

Trainer: Jane Chapple-Hyam Jockey: Adam Kirby

All 4 starts at Newmarket, winning Group 3 at 2. Improved again when excellent length second (Santa Barbara narrowly behind) in 1000 Guineas last month. Not sure to stay 1½m but big shout if she does.

Ocean Road

Trainer: Hugo Palmer Jockey: Oisin Murphy

1m AW novice winner last December and made an encouraging return when 1¾ lengths third to Sherbet Lemon in Lingfield Oaks Trial. Open to further progress.

Teona

Trainer: Roger Varian Jockey: David Egan

Easy AW winner last backend and made encouraging return considering she pulled hard when 4¼ lengths third of 7 to Snowfall in Musidora at York (1¼m). Hood on to help her settle but needs to improve.

Save A Forest

Trainer: Roger Varian Jockey: Callum Shepherd

Maiden/handicap winner this spring who took form up another notch when second to Sherbet Lemon in Lingfield Oaks Trial. Another chunk of improvement needed to get heavily involved here, though.

Technique

Trainer: Martyn Meade Jockey: Sean Levey

AW winner at Wolverhampton in January. Narrowly denied in 1¼m course listed event in April but that form hasn’t worked out and she was well held in Lingfield Oaks Trial.

Sherbet Lemon

Trainer: Archie Watson Jockey: Hollie Doyle

Took her career record to 2-3 when showing much improved form to see off Save A Forest by ¾ length and land Lingfield Oaks Trial last month. This demands more but she is open to further progress.
