This is a weak maiden hurdle and it can go to HOT ON MY HEELS. She progressed nicely from her debut to be beaten just 9l at Ballinrobe last time and that looks the strongest form on offer, with more progression likely. Indie Belle is interesting, having been well fancied in a Cork bumper recently. Roisins Ciara and Georgina Burgess have shown enough form to be competitive. Winter Castle is respected if she gets a run.

14:00 Outlier
Another weak maiden hurdle. Those with form don’t set a high standard, so a chance is taken on the Pat Flynn-trained debutant OUTLIER to emulate her sister and win on debut. Huit Reflets was expected to do much better on his bumper debut and can go well, along with Believe Jack and Scarkananny. If she gets a run, third reserve Cottie will go close.
14:35 Otzi
Modest stuff to say the least. OTZI drops back in trip and it is worth noting he posted one of his better efforts on testing ground over the minimum trip in the past. His stable seems to have hit some good form and he may be worth chancing here. An Droichead Eile, Odds Or Evens, Monty’s Mission and Rocco Storm are big dangers.
15:10 Johanna Yeats
The trip seemed to catch out JOHANNA YEATS on her recent visit to Ballinrobe, but she fired a warning sign at same when third over a lesser trip on her previous start, and dropped even further in distance here, she could well have found a nice opportunity to pop up in front. Gaelic Des Chastys, Sicario and Hide Out are also likely to be in the thick of it.
15:45 Weihnachts (NAP)
Though it doesn’t always follow that a higher-rated chaser successfully exploits a lower hurdles mark, WEIHNACHTS (nap) is a Flat-bred who should be equally as effective back over hurdles, in which he is 16lb lower. He faces several in-form rivals though, including Brosna Rocco, Magnor Glory, Brides Hill and Listenheretomejack.

Though it is only four days since she ran at Wexford, it is difficult to oppose SOVEREIGN GOLD in a race where she comes out clear best at the weights. Courting Flow and Rocky’s Howya are her obvious dangers.

With a points win under his belt, and in what looks a desperately weak affair, RECITE A PRAYER should be good enough to win this on stable debut for Willie Mullins. Alternatives are thin on the ground with Queensteel, Blazing Tornado and Call Me Rocco the pick of the remainder.
17:30 Classic Getaway
A runway winner of a Borris House point on debut before changing hands for a hefty sum, CLASSIC GETAWAY stands out as the clear pick here and it will be disappointing if he fails to deliver on debut for Willie Mullins. Calagogo is the main danger whilst Bolintlea and Carfax could also stake a claim.
