16:30 – Corey Lord
An unplaced maiden where COREY LORD boasts the soundest credentials. His runs at some of the better tracks during the winter is above anything else his rivals have achieved and he should be hard to beat dropping in class. Close Enough would appear the most obvious danger.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
17:00 – Brideswell Lad
A reproduction of his Leopardstown fourth would make BRIDESWELL LAD tough to beat but Merry Dreamer, Port Jack, Mamaslittlestar and Tarqueens Glory are genuine contenders in what looks the more open of the two divisions.
17:30 – An Taibhse
Hard to get away from AN TAIBHSE. She did what was expected of her at Kilbeggan and can come forward again on handicap debut. Annieguire won’t mind the rain as she appears to be all stamina but the top-rated should be hard to beat.
18:00 – Misty Millie
MISTY MILLIE hinted at a return to winning ways at Kilbeggan before disappointing at Punchestown but this is not as competitive. Flamin Aimee lacks a recent run but would be a big danger if any way right on her return while Loughaneala Og is potentially interesting.

18:30 – Meticulous
Tullybeg faces a stiffer task than when winning a similar Down Royal contest early this month but handles this ground and could be hard to beat. However, preference, despite possible ground concerns, is for METICULOUS, who got his hurdling campaign back on track with a ready win over this trip at Cork and can go on from that. Merry Doyenne is progressing nicely and could prove a danger to all off a light weight.
19:00 – Punters Poet
Although he encounters much softer ground than when winning at Clonmel recently, PUNTERS POET has few obvious rivals in a poor race here and could well follow up over this shorter trip. Antigua Son is another whose best form is over further but definitely handles this ground and rates the main threat. Ricky Langford is a previous C&D winner and comes from a yard in fine form so warrants a look.
19:30 – Trixie Mc
Despite her rider reporting that she never travelled at Kilbeggan a week ago, TRIXIE MC (nap) did really well to finish a clear third, and back on her favoured soft ground off an unchanged mark makes plenty of appeal here under the in-form Darragh O’Keeffe. Chrisaldy is a potential improver now back in trip with a hood fitted, while Let Her Flow could be interesting on her first start for Matthew Smith.
20:00 – Midnight It Is
Having finished runner-up on all three bumper outings, MIDNIGHT IT IS can go one better here. Principal dangers look to be Patricks Hill, Trim To Milan and My Design.
