17:35 – Treshnish

Although he has more on at the weights this time, TRESHNISH is taken to make it two C&D wins this year following his unfortunate fall when clear at the last here last time. First Revolution looks the one to chase him home.

18:05 – Lalochezia

It’s difficult to split Grange Ranger and Itsnotyouitsme but a slight preference is for the consistent Micky Hammond-trained chaser. However, that pair could be forced to play second and third fiddle to the lightly raced LALOCHEZIA. Justin Landy’s charge acquitted himself incredibly well here on his recent rules, stable and hurdles debut when going down fighting to a Paul Nicholls-trained favourite, and dropping back in trip is no hindrance.

18:35 – Lawtop Legend

Now with Dr Newland, LAWTOP LEGEND has staged something of a revival over hurdles and was successful in first-time blinkers at Plumpton (hurdle) last week. With career-best efforts at Hexham in 2018 and 2019 when trained by George Bewley, he appeals at the foot of the handicap assuming he can cope with this return to chasing. Gameface is next best.

If able to reproduce much more like her early bumper and hurdles efforts for Henry Daly, it’s feasible that she can be positively involved.

Few of these are regular winners and it could pay to go with TOMMIE BEAU following his wide-margin success at Plumpton last time. Grumpy McGrumpface looks next best.
