16:40 – Our Friend
Jordan Gainford’s 7lb claim could make all the difference to OUR FRIEND who was well enough placed when unseating two out at Downpatrick. Long-priced Tipperary winner Give Me A Moment could feature again off 7lb higher. Downthecellar and Backintheboom both shaped quite well last time.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
17:10 – Antey
ANTEY might not be for everyone at a short price but this looks a formality with a clear round, though money for Winner Takes Itall would be interesting. The rest do not look good enough.
17:40 – Ice Cool
Val O’Brien has won races with horses older than ICE COOL in the past, and this 12-year-old may be able to end a long losing sequence with Hugh Morgan claiming 5lb off bottom weight. Cluan Dara comes from a stable in great form and has an obvious chance. Course winner Johnnys Girl is inconsistent but capable of making her presence felt if things go right.
18:15 – Stormy Master
This will not take much winning and the first-time blinkered STORMY MASTER appeals on the basis of being relatively unexposed. Boro Melody may improve from his first handicap at Downpatrick. Wee Small Hours may prove best of a group of older horses here.

18:45 – Thegoaheadman
This is a good opportunity for THEGOAHEADMAN, whose 111 official rating can be justified by his last two runs in handicap company prior to a cross-country bid at the Punchestown festival. Pictures Of Home, though fortunate to win at Kilbeggan, has been running well over hurdles. La Feline and Kilgorey also make some appeal.
19:15 – Goulane Jessie
GOULANE JESSIE stands out here. Denis O’Regan’s mount should be really hard to beat if getting into a rhythm. The rest are unappealing in the main.
19:45 – Call Of The Loon
CALL OF THE LOON‘s yard has gone a long time without a winner but a race as weak as this offers hope of an end to the famine. Bitview Colin, by contrast, represents a trainer banging in the winners of late.
20:15 – Not Available
The well-bred NOT AVAILABLE‘s trainer struck Sunday with a debutant over fences and he seems much the most likely winner despite his inexperience. Everybreathyoutake might be able to make up for lost time too.
