This might go to GOING MOBILE, who ran well in defeat over 3m last month and remains 3lb lower than when winning over 2m3f in October. Champagne Lilly didn’t have a particularly inspiring record during her five-race hurdling career but she won all four of her completed points and looks a very interesting candidate for regulation fences. Eurkash and Daranova are others to consider.

18:20 Lord Accord

Low-mileage 6yo LORD ACCORD ran very well in defeat when upped to 3m at Ayr four weeks ago and is taken to overcome a 2lb nudge up the weights here. Encore Champs reportedly had a breathing problem when a very disappointing favourite at Cheltenham last month but his stable debut in February was promising and he remains very much of interest. Canyon City is next on the list.

Molly Carew has already enjoyed a productive year and she looked as good as ever when collecting a good prize at Haydock last month but slight preference is for MADERA MIST, who was a creditable second at Cheltenham on her latest outing and goes again off the same mark here.

19:20 Wye Aye (NAP)

The most obvious answer is WYE AYE (nap), who is still a maiden over hurdles but ended last season in excellent form over fences and has a lower mark in this sphere. Profile Picture outran 50-1 odds when a clear second over C&D on his handicap debut a fortnight ago and remains unexposed. Billy Ray needs to better his recent efforts but will be dangerous if the first-time cheekpieces enable him to replicate the form he showed when a well-backed second off today’s mark in February.

Conundrum disappointed on his latest outing but he won in pretty good style two starts ago and his Flat form offers hope he might still be on a good hurdle mark.

Solid recent form is thin on the ground, but at least HELLO SUNSHINE has few miles on the clock and shaped with a little encouragement on her handicap debut. She gets a tentative vote in a first-time tongue-strap, just ahead of Clondaw Pretender, who could be open to improvement after an absence. Shall We Go Now, Kenyan Cowboy and Badness Backfires complete the shortlist.
