Several have possibilities but the vote goes to course winner AS YOU LIKE, who showed clear signs of a revival with his well-backed third at Southwell last month and is well treated if he can build on that. Forgot To Ask is only 1lb higher than for his brave win at Plumpton and he’s feared most, though Compadre travelled well for a long way when runner-up at Haydock last time and he’s respected on this drop back in trip. Others to consider are Larkbarrow Lad and Red Giant.

ASHFIELD PADDY bumped into an improver at Carlisle last time and may prove the answer here. The returning Ballyhome has an excellent track record so he looks the main danger ahead of Regarding Ruth.
