All of this field pose questions but the two best options may be CADEAU D’OR and Dancing Harry now that they have a run under their belts this season, something which also brings Hiroshima back into calculations. Those top two are interesting candidates for 2m on 2020 evidence, as is Summeronsevenhills judged on his 1m6f win three weeks ago but that was on good to firm.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
13:55 El Hadeeyah
Preference for Newmarket third EL HADEEYAH is only tentative as she’s taking on some very interesting newcomers, notably Frankel filly Wild Beauty who is fascinating for all that her sire isn’t yet noted for sharp early 2yos over 5f. Get Ahead and Gorgeous Star are also respected. The betting should help to firm up what’s expected.
14:30 Stowell
The Gosden yard won this race in 2018 and 2019. Their STOWELL may end up a shorter price than his Lingfield form deserves but the promise of that debut performance could hardly have earned him a higher profile. He faces only two opponents, with Going Gone preferred to Geremia.
15:00 Beautiful Bertie
Most of the runners are appealing types. Slight preference is for BEAUTIFUL BERTIE, who should improve on his Newbury reappearance effort. Second choice is the improving Stylish Performer, ahead of King Zain and Twaasol. The promising Aldaary is a key player but he would be more appealing if the ground deteriorates.
15:30 Jonah Jones
Much was expected of Many A Star on his debut for this yard at Wetherby but he wasn’t seen to best advantage on that track and this straight one should pose fewer problems. However, this will take more winning and JONAH JONES and Fresh, in particular, are very interesting on their C&D form. The former did well to take third in September, considering he took a hefty bump, had to be switched and ended out on a limb away from the main action. He should have plenty going for him here, with Fresh seen as the main danger ahead of Musicality.

16:05 Crimson Sand (NAP)
Preference is for CRIMSON SAND (nap), who has won maiden/novice events at Lingfield this year in nice style and looks the type to do well in handicaps. Second choice Ascot Adventure is very interesting back on turf, while third choice Whittle Le Woods looks capable of further progress. Reappearance winners Marlay Park and Temple Bruer complete the shortlist.
16:40 The Attorney
This looks wide open but THE ATTORNEY showed up well against promising rivals on turf at two considering he was a late foal and would have made it 2-2 on the AW to end the season had he not behaved out of character at Lingfield. There was no sign of waywardness when winning after and he looks interesting for his in-form yard now upped to 1m. My Swallow was taken out of a race on good to soft at Chester this week but is another who is a likely handicap prospect this year, along with Orgetorix, sure to appreciate a good test at this trip, and likewise Bertie’s Wish, who could prove the main danger to the selection.
