Plenty to consider, with marginal preference for CATHAYENSIS who opened her account recently and is likely to benefit from this step up in trip. Zumaaty is the biggest danger after finishing runner-up off the same mark last week, ahead of Bonnie Lad and handicap debutant My Boy Frankie who will both enjoy this sort of test.

18:30 – Get It

This should be a piece of cake for GET IT who was a very useful 2yo at this trip on turf and has had wind surgery since he failed to run up to expectations in a valuable sales race at Newbury last summer. It will be very surprising if any of these rivals see the way he goes but Symbol Of Hope shaped quite promisingly on his reappearance at Newcastle and is preferred to Tantastic for the runner-up spot.

19:00 – Dan De Light

If DAN DE LIGHT matches the form of his latest Southwell win then he should be hard to beat against rivals who mostly have plenty to prove. Spirit Of Heaven is an interesting handicap debutant, but Red Walls is narrowly second choice despite being more exposed.

There’s every chance that Phoenix Dawn will come good on his third start for this yard but he has been expensive to follow recently and isn’t one to take short odds about. It might be better to go with AFFAIR who has been running better than her form figures suggest. Cold Harbour is the second choice.

20:00 – Far Hope

The Crisfords’ FAR HOPE looked a decent prospect when winning at Newbury recently and is fancied to defy a penalty before going on to better things. Newcomer Angel’s Kiss is the most appealing alternative, ahead of Ghazaaly and Degree in that order.

20:30 – All You Wish

Last-time-out winners Unapologetic and Some Nightmare may still have more to offer, especially the latter who was so impressive here last time. However, the selection is ALL YOU WISH who drops to this level for the first time. Some of his form over C&D from earlier in the year would give him every chance in a race like this.
