16:50 – Lord Gorgeous

With the advantage of a run behind him LORD GORGEOUS should be hard to beat as long as he copes with the surface. The dam of Willie McCreery’s runner Loveday won over 5f for Ger Lyons, and may pose a greater than the Lyons hope Elzaam Tales, whose dam was effective at middle-distances.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

17:20 – Leadership Race

Despite having finished out of the money here on Sunday it is hard to get away from the 85-rated LEADERSHIP RACE in a race of this standard. With Siobhan Rutledge taking off a valuable 7lb Pachmena could be a big danger. The McAuley stable throws the kitchen-sink at this, with Approach The City and Robert Guiscard probably best of the five.

17:50 – County Wicklow

Aidan O’Brien should know where he stands in saddling COUNTY WICKLOW against Golden Lyric, no match for a Ballydoyle colt last time. Belmont Avenue went close against a stablemate of Golden Lyric at Cork and was the unplaced favourite for a Curragh maiden notable for launching the career of prime Classic fancy Santa Barbara.

18:20 – Medway

Joseph O’Brien’s new recruit MEDWAY wouldn’t have to be a star to make an immediate impact for this team and gets the nod over In The Attic, who is difficult to recommend with confidence after last time but did show ability last term. Stop On Red knows where the winning post is around here but might prefer shorter and has been busy lately, while Lust For Life, one who could be open to improvement, can capitalise if the leading players fail to fire.

18:50 – Jm Barrie

Cases can be made for plenty but a chance is taken on JM BARRIE taking advantage of his handy weight to make the breakthrough at the 18th attempt. He’s showb up well over this C&D on a number of occasions and has the draw in his favour. Expect Beleaguerment to finish closer to Tipperary Moon than last time on these terms, while Monzoon isn’t the most exposed of these and needs respecting.

19:20 – Forest Of Dreams

A trappy race in which FOREST OF DREAMS could double his career tally, likely to come forward from his Cork reappearance when fourth. Aikido should give him plenty to think about, while Bell I Am could hit the frame should the cheekpieces sharpen her up.

19:50 – Port Lockroy

It took a while for PORT LOCKROY (nap) to raise his effort when second over 1m4f here on Sunday and the 2m trip could play to his strengths. Despite a 5lb rise for her recent Gowran second, winning jumper Alohamora has a fighting chance of a first Flat win. Wave Walker and Danehill Quest , both in action over jumps last time, could feature along with The Abbey who should improve from his Gowran run.

20:20 – Amhran Na Bhfiann

Derby third AMHRAN NA BHFIANN should make a winning return from injury, able to run substantially below his best and still oblige. Boola Boola might finish closest to the Coronation Cup entry, while Paloma Blue might hit the frame if taking to this code.
