Although he failed to justify favouritism on his Kempton debut, it was a run that strongly suggested he had a race of this nature in him.

17:15 Third Realm

Some interesting newcomers take on some once-raced sorts, each of whom is open to plenty of progress, and this looks a race to tread carefully with. Blow That Horn may prove best of the debutants but THIRD REALM appeals as the type to take a marked step forward from his debut fifth over 1m.

17:45 Kalma

An interesting race for the grade featuring three last-time-out winners, each of whom have something to recommend them. Red Glory is a potential improver upped in trip and handicapping but KALMA served notice of a bigger run when fourth at Wolverhampton three weeks ago and she gets the tentative vote. Hat-trick seeking Artisan Bleu is feared most.

18:15 Russian Virtue (NAP)

Hundred Isles was impressive on his handicap debut and should go well despite the rise in the weights. Jean Baptiste comes here in good form and is feared but RUSSIAN VIRTUE (nap) caught the eye at Doncaster on his reappearance and can take advantage of the same mark.

18:45 Peerless

A trappy sprint. Atiyah will need to better her recent Wolverhampton success to follow up but she’s low mileage and blinkers may help. Both of Nigel Tinkler’s runners have untapped potential and the betting should guide, while Carbon Positive is another handicap debutant with more to come. PEERLESS was on an upward curve when last seen, however, and he may well have his best days still ahead of him.

19:15 Aguerooo

The one with the potential to blow the race apart is the lightly raced Refuge, who was firmly on the up when last seen in October. That improvement came on soft ground though and he does have to prove he can be equally effective on a faster surface. It Must Be Faith should go well but this could be the day that multiple AW scorer AGUEROOO breaks his turf hoodoo. He’s been running with credit this year and he is able to race off a mark 15lb lower than when last seen on grass.
