A few of these remain open to improvement such as Cosmos Raj and Easy To Dream and neither would need to improve much from what they have shown in order to figure. However, the drop in trip could well suit TICK TOCH who made much of the running before fading inside the last furlong over 1m here last time. She is another taking a slight drop in grade.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
17:15 Nellie Moon
Four of the six runners have only had three starts each so are entitled to have improvement left, especially those stepping up in trip. Nastasiya is respected despite the absence with the greater test of stamina likely to suit her, while Secret Shadow represents a stable in form, but the choice is NELLIE MOON who looked a stayer when winning over this trip at Lingfield last time. Her opening mark looks perfectly manageable.
17:45 If You Dare
There is probably more to come from Boomshalaa and River Tweed having only had one start apiece, but the last two winners of this race had been successful before and that trend may continue. Isola Rossa won nicely at Lingfield when last seen in November, but IF YOU DARE was particularly impressive when bolting up from the front at Southwell last time. He ran well on Polytrack on his debut and is well drawn on the inside to dominate once again.
18:15 Ransom
There are some fascinating newcomers in the line-up and the market will be interesting as regard their chances. The Gosdens’ 550,000gns colt Ranchero is possibly the pick of that group, but a couple of these have already achieved a useful standard. Ibiza Rocks looked a nice prospect when winning at Newbury last September, but it’s interesting that RANSOM is being persevered with by his top yard having not been seen since his winning debut at Lingfield last summer.
18:45 Battered
It may have been be a while since BATTERED showed his best form but he is well handicapped as a result and the combination of new headgear and a switch of stables might work the oracle. Silver Samurai ran well despite a troubled passage over C&D last time and is the best alternative. Thrill Seeker and Fantasy Believer appeal most from the rest.

19:15 Wisper
This low-grade event is wide open and maybe WISPER will prove the answer. She shaped well over C&D last time and has the ability to win a weak race like this. Final Fantasy is the solid option and looks sure to go well again, while The Mehmas Touch might prove best of the rest.
19:45 Unapologetic
None of these have entirely convincing claims. Toolmaker has a good draw from which to attack and he’s not a forlorn hope in first-time blinkers, while a revival from Viola Park isn’t impossible and Treble Clef isn’t fully exposed just yet. UNAPOLOGETIC has to bounce back from a couple of quiet runs but she’s only had eight starts and her Wolverhampton second in December came off a 4lb higher mark.
20:15 Gunnerside (NAP)
Not many leap off the page as appealing but GUNNERSIDE (nap), who was nicely backed when making a winning reappearance at Newcastle last week, still has some potential upside and he can defy the penalty. The quirky Bernard Spierpoint has the ability to figure, while Elusif is on a dangerous mark and also warrants a second look.
